Public transport made easy with Samsung Pay. Simply tap your phone on the Opal reader without unlocking and you’re on your way! You will receive the same travel benefits of an adult Opal card.

Getting started is simple

Adding your card

Add your Qudos Bank card in these simple steps:

Open the Samsung Pay app and sign in with your Samsung ID.
Register your fingerprint and device passcode which you’ll use to authorise payments. Members with an S8, Note8, S9, Note9 can also scan their irises for iris authentication.
Scan or enter your Qudos Bank Visa debit or credit card details.
Verify your card details and enter the verification code.

How to setup Samsung Pay for Samsung Galaxy Watch

If you are using a compatible Samsung device:

  1. Launch Samsung Galaxy wearable app
  2. Tap on Open Samsung Pay from “info” tab on Samsung Pay from “Settings” tab.
  3. If you can't locate Samsung Galaxy wearable app in your device, please install Galaxy wearable app from Google Play Store or Samsung Galaxy Apps.

If you are using a non-Samsung device:

  1. Please install Samsung Galaxy wearable app from Google Play Store
  2. Launch Samsung Galaxy wearable app.
  3. Tap on Open Samsung Pay from “Info” tab on Samsung Pay from “Settings” tab.

Troubleshooting tips

To successfully add a card to Samsung Pay you will need to ensure that:

  • you have a compatible device
  • you have an eligible Qudos Bank debit or credit card which has been activated
  • you have provided Qudos Bank with your mobile number and email address in the correct fields
  • you have at least $1 available balance in your account before attempting to register your card
  • check the notification settings on your device,
  • and check your card controls within your wallet settings to ensure the toggles are set to allow international payments
