We were formed by a group of Qantas employees, more than 60 years ago, who wanted to establish better financial options for themselves, their families, and their community.

Today we're one of Australia’s largest customer-owned banks with over $5 billion in assets and branches in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

We're a leader in the customer-owned banking industry and were named Canstar's Customer-Owned Bank of the Year and Mozo's Australia's Best Large Mutual Bank in 2023.

Family

We want to help you better balance your work and personal commitments. That’s why we offer Birthday Leave, Family Personal Leave, Compassionate Leave including the passing of a pet, a 12 month Career Break and and the option to apply to work anywhere in Australia for 2 weeks per year.

Parental Support

We provide up to 14 weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers and two weeks for secondary caregivers. As part of our continual support for Primary Carers off on Parental Leave, Qudos Bank offers superannuation contributions for up to 52 weeks leave. Upon return to the office we have an exclusive room for breastfeeding mothers. We also recognize that support is important for miscarriages, this is why we also offer paid miscarriage leave.

Employee assistance program

Qudos Bank provide a free and confidential Employee Assistance Program which is available to all employees and their immediate family members. This includes counselling services, legal services, and nutritional services.

Specifically, we have exceeded the criteria of 80% staff satisfaction and are outperforming the industry benchmark. Only a small number of The Voice Project’s clients meet one of these criteria.

Our average satisfaction score was 80.1%, and scores were on average 6.2 percentage points above the industry benchmark, easily exceeding both criteria. Qudos Bank has therefore been identified as an exceptional place to work.
