November 2022

It’s been an exciting time for our as we’ve been eagerly working on a few updates to best support our customers. Last month, we launched our new and improved mobile app update with some handy new features to enrich the customer experience.

We understand the importance of making improvements when it comes to technology, so it’s an exciting time for Qudos Bank to roll out the following updates.

Our new and improved Mobile App

Our updated Mobile app includes an improved dashboard user experience with other self-service functionalities, making on-the-go banking easier. Below are some key features that have been recently rolled out on the app. These include:

  • A new dashboard design featuring helpful widgets, such as viewing new notifications, secure mail messages, accounts, and your net position.
  • The ability to personalise your dashboard to suit your banking needs.
  • You can save and manage new Payees & PayIDs to your favourites without having to make a payment.
  • Secure mail messages can be easily viewed and managed on the app. You can mark them off as read or unread and draft messages to come back to later.
  • You’ll need to re-register your Qudos Bank app when you migrate your information and apps from your device over to a new one. This helps reduce the potential risk of unauthorised access to your accounts.

Add new Payees to your favourites

You can now save new payees to your favourites, without having to make a payment.

To access this functionality, login to the app and head to the pay menu and select “Manage Payees”.

Watch our latest video on how you can add new payees to your favourites.

You can manage and add new payees at any time using the mobile bank app. Some of the key benefits of this functionality include:

  • Streamlining payees and PayIDs into one place, making bank transfers easier and more simplified.
  • You can access your favourite payees at any time within the app, especially if you want to make future payments.

You can edit/delete payees if things change. You’ll be able to manage them all in one place.

Dave's Latest Tech Tip

Use PayID to safely pay others

With scams on the rise, we encourage you to use PayID wherever possible to safely transfer money to your friends or family. By using PayID, you’ll have more visibility when it comes to who you’re transferring money to, and payments can be made using a mobile number or email address instead of a BSB and Account number.

PayID transactions have the same high level of security that your regular transfers via internet banking and mobile banking.

Best of all, getting registered for PayID is simple, easy-to-use, and free!

If you haven’t set up PayID already for your accounts with Qudos Bank, view our Real-time payments webpage on real-time payments to learn more on how you can get set up.
